Judy Stephenson, 65, of Peebles, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at a West Union nursing home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, with interment in Moores Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Judy Stephenson, 64, of Peebles, died Friday, September 11, 2009 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Center. She was born June 15, 1945, the daughter of Ednea (Sizemore) Parker and the late James Parker, in Scioto County.

She attended Purtee Community Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Stephenson, of Peebles; her mother, Ednea Parker of West Union; five daughters, Rhonda Thacker and James, of Peebles, Sheila Unger and Rick, and Kimberly Adkins and Walter, Jr., both of West Union and Michelle Reynolds and Darren, and Joannie Grooms, both of Peebles; three sons, Rodney Stephenson, of Peebles, Kenny Stephenson, and Ricky Stephenson and Michelle, both of West Union; seven sisters, Janie Dunaway, of Bainbridge, Venus Blanton, of Waverly, Wanda Lawwill, of Peebles, Rebecca Blanton, of West Union, Marcy Parker, of Greenfield, Penny Taylor, of Portsmouth and Violet Robinson, of Peebles; twin brothers, James Parker and David Parker, both of Blue Creek; 12 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
