**********

Hazel Aldrich was 97 when she passed away at her home. She was the daughter of Frank and Rose Goodspeed and lived in Ithaca all her life. She was married to Howard Mills who preceded her in death and Dr. A.L. Aldrich who also preceded her in death.

Hazel was a homemaker who loved to read, walk, attend dances and bowl. She worked for Redman's and Kroger at one time and was a member of the Ithaca Church of God.
She was survived by a daughter, two grandchildren and their spouses, seven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Besides her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, stepdaughter, Lorraine Peters, brothers, Howard, Gene and Charlie Goodspeed and sisters, Freda Bertram and Florence McNaughton.

Those are the facts. However, there was a lot more to Aunt Hazel (my husband's aunt) than that. She was my favorite among my husband's aunts and uncles. She had a great sense of humor and always found a funny side to things. She always had a positive attitude and was great to be around. You always knew if Aunt Hazel was there you would be laughing before long. She was special, and we miss her.
Thank you everyone who visits Hazel.
