Sarah Faye Benesch, 89, of Pinon, passed away Nov. 21, 2005. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Clarence H. Benesch, in 1995. She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Marjorie Stevens, in 1937; sons, Joe Stevens, in 2002, Harold Benesch, in 2003; grandson, Charles Chacon, in 1995 and 10 brothers and sisters. Sarah is survived by her children, Donald (Phyllis) Stevens and Peggy Kingston; daughters-in-law, Ruth Stevens and Alene Benesch; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sarah was a 60-year member of the Pi-on Arts and Crafts Club. She was a professional seamstress, sewing everything from baby clothes to bridal gowns, pageant gowns and even clothing for Miss Rodeo America. When she wasn't sewing, Sarah enjoyed her flower garden. Most of all she enjoyed time with her family. Sarah's family always came first. Her family will deeply miss her heart of gold, her great sense of humor and her giving soul. Visitation, 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, T.G. McCarthy Rose Chapel. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution in memory of Sarah Faye Benesch to a charity of choice.
