Joan Hawkins Andreason, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed from this life on Sunday, January 13, 2002 at Highland Care Center in Holladay, UT.

Born November 16, 1932 in San Francisco, CA to James O. and Agnes Farrer Hawkins.

Married on September 20, 1955 to Donald Ray Andreason; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survived by sons, James Ray (Sara) Andreason, West Jordan; Karl Ray (Ann) Andreason, Sandy; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson; sister, Ruth (Philip H.) Clark; brother, Ted (Jane) Hawkins; brother-in-law Bill (Faye) Andreason; and sister-in-law Noreen Smearnoff. Preceded in death by her daughter, Leslie, son Charles Ray, and husband.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2002 at 10 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1950 East Dimple dell Road (10600 South), where friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
