John Kosar of Williamson, died at his home on Monday of last week, aged 72 years. The funeral was held Wednesday, July 20 and interment made in the Colony cemetery. A wife, four sons and a daughter, Mrs. Jacob Taha of Prescott survive him. Mr. Kosar was born in Austria. He came to America thirty years ago and settled at his late home. For many years he has been a prominent citizen of that community and had accumulated considerable wealth. During the past ten years his health has not been good.
July 30, 1910 -- In our Williamson and Colony correspondence are found notices of the death of John Kosar, an aged and respected resident of Colony township, which occurred Monday afternoon at his home southeast of Williamson. Mr. Kosar was 72 years of age. He leaves his aged wife and four sons and one daughter - Frank, who lives in Kansas, Joseph, in Wyoming, John of Adair county, James, who lives at home, and Mrs. J. Taha, north of Prescott. The funeral was held yesterday at the home and burial was made in the Colony cemetery.
