Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Mrs. Frank (Cresence) Meidl, 74, 422 - 30th Ave N, St. Cloud, who died Thursday at home.

The Rev. William Vouk will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

Cresence Meidl was born April 25, 1912, in Pierz to Joseph and Barbara (Lochner) Gruber. She married Frank Meidl on March 3, 1930, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pierz. The couple lived in New Ulm until 1952 when they moved to St. Cloud where she worked for the city as a clerk in the Park and Shop parking lot. She was a member of St. Anthony's parish and St. Anthony's Christian Women.

Survivors include her husband; sons and daughters, Mrs. Donald (Cleora) Schmidt, Aurora, Ill.; Mrs. Larry (Viola) Wood, Grafton, Wis.; Frank J., Urbank, Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Stuntebeck, Sauk Rapids; Mrs. Ervin (Carla) Symanietz, Nevis; Duane "Dewey", Hugo; 25 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Simon, Victoria Heights; Urban, Pierz; Mrs. Philip (Edith) Tretter, Lastrup; Mrs. Herman (Ester) Langer, Stillwater; Mrs. Leonard (Eleanor) Kasper, Pierz; Mrs. Elmer (Caroline) Sadlowski, Upsala.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Herbert, Alphonse, Carl and Wilfred; and a sister, Lucille Dietz.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
