Mrs. T. J. (Elizabeth) Deason, 84, died Sunday at her home, 902 Bridge Avenue in Northport. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today from Northport Baptist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery by Jones and Spigener.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Leo Brewster, Birmingham; five sons, A. O. Deason, Northport; Waldo Deason, Tuscaloosa; Carl Deason, Akron, Ohio; Grover Deason, Portsmouth VA; and Dr. Virgil Deason, Logan, West Virginia; three sisters, Mrs. Alta Burchfield, Tuscaloosa; Mrs. W. A. Rose, Northport; and Mrs. J. A. Quarles, Northport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers for the funeral will be John Pearson, Gordon Darden, Sam Hamner, Herbert Robertson, Charlie White and James W. Anders.
