May 2, for Mrs. Etta Bilbrey Beasley, 55, wife of Andrew J. Beasley, who died at her
home near Oak Hill, fifth district of Overton County, Saturday morning after a brief
illness. The Rev. Paul Williams, pastor of the Methodist Church at Rickman,
conducted the funeral.
She was the daughter of the late Madison Bilbrey and Mrs. Mintie Cannon.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Thomas Bilbrey, Mrs. James England, Misses
Vaudie and Callie Beasley; and three sons, Chester, Lum, and Osnoe Beasley, of
Overton County. Burial was at the Eckle Graveyard.
