Funeral services will be held in the home and in St. Johannes Lutheran church. Burial will be in St. Johannes Lutheran cemetery.
Miss Minnie Boetticher was born, Dec. 16, 1857, in Columbia, Mo, daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. J. T. Boetticher. In 1879 she married Mr. Bachmann in Mt. Pulaski. They came to Decatur in 1885 from Quincy where they had lived since marriage. He conducted a retail grocery business here 25 years and died in 1930.
She leaves three sons, Dr. Albert J. Bachmann and Dr. Arthur F. Bachmann, both of Chicago and Fred J. Bachmann, Decatur, fireman, and two daughters, Mrs. Ernest L. Heyne of Chicago and Mrs. Albert J. Holtman of Ft. Wayne Ind. One daughter, Miss Henrietta Bachman, died in 1929.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Bachmann were active members of the St. Johannes church and she had been president of the ladies sewing circle since its organization 33 years ago.
