Toulon Couple's Golden Wedding Day Wednesday

Toulon, (Special) –Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Addis of Toulon who were married February 16, 1899, will observe their golden wedding anniversary at their home that day from 2 to 5 in the afternoon and from 7 to 9 in the evening.
Charles F. Addis and Miss Jennie Graves were married at the Isaac Addis home in West Jersey township with Rev. L. F. Cullom, pastor of the Toulon Methodist church performing the ceremony. This was a double wedding with, her brother and his sister, Elton O. Graves and Miss Iva V. Addis, being married at the same time. Mr. and Mrs. Graves are deceased.
Mr. and Mrs. Addis lived for a while with his father, Isaac Addis, later moving to their farm south of Toulon where they lived until 1919, when they moved to Toulon where they have since resided. Both Mr. and Mrs. Addis are quite active, she taking an active part in the local Methodist church and Mr. Addis engaging in trucking.
They were the attendants at the wedding 50 years ago of Mr. and Mrs. Jesses A. Ingram of Wyoming, who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary February 1 and were among those who were guests at the anniversary celebration.
Mr. and Mrs. Addis have two daughters, Lucille, Mrs. George Allen; and Pauline, Mrs. Raymond Seckman, both of whom reside with their families south of Toulon. They also have seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
