Blanton, Bobby ‘Bob' -1932-2005-Funeral services were held Monday, August 29, 11 a.m. at the Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church for Bobby "Bob" Blanton, 73, of East Point, Ky., who passed away Friday, August 26 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky. Mr. Blanton was born July 4, 1932 in Paintsville, Ky., son of the late Claudie and Flossie Reed Blanton. He was employed by Crace Wrecker Service of Paintsville, Ky. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Violet Lemaster. Surviving are three daughters, Diana Billiter and Tammy Blanton, both of East Point, Ky., and Gail Dale of Stockdale, Ohio; one son, Rick Blanton of Hamilton, Ohio; one brother, Bert Blanton of Paintsville, Ky.; one sister, Neva Lee Bayes of Flat Gap, Ky.; and 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Spriggs, with burial in the Williams Family Cemetery at Oil Springs, Ky. Arrangements under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home of Paintsville, Ky.
