"Olivia Delmas Succumbs to Heart Attack"
Miss Olivia Delmas, 66, native and lifelong resident of Pascagoula, died in Mobile Infirmary suddenly Friday morning following a heart attack. Miss Delmas had entered the hospital last Wednesday where she underwent an operation.

Miss Delmas was a member of one of Pascagoula's oldest families, the daughter of the late Irving Paul Delmas and Bertha Poitevin.

An alumni of Our Lady of Victories high school. Miss Delmas was active in church circles and was a member of the Altar Society, C.K. of A., and Children of Mary Sodality. She was also a member of Jackson County Historical Society.

For nearly 37 years Miss Delmas was secretary for Ford and Ford, attorneys.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Forestine Delmas, Pascagoula; two brothers, Lee A., Pascagoula, and Randolph, Corpus Christi; four nieces and three nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Fails Funeral chapel and Our Lady of Victories church with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. P. J. Carey officiating. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery.

Pall bearers were J.I. Ford, J. Guy Krebs, Ed Hudson, Eugene Krebs, Ebb Ford, Pat Brabston, J.B. Delmas, and O.E. Ward. Honorary pall bearers were Leslie Miller, Pedro Cox, Dr. J.N. Lockard, Rex Moore, J.O. Cole, Dr. J.F. Colley, Elwood Poitevin, A.M. Browne, Hermes Gautier, Solomon Frederic, Claude Delmas, and Armand Jonte.
