Mrs. Mattie M. Brown
Clarendon, March 22 - Services for Mrs. Mattie Mable Brown, 75 will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the First Methodist Church.
Officiating will be the Rev. J. V. Patterson, pastor, assisted by the Rev Jerry Barrett, at Shamrock. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home.
Brs. Brown died at 4:25 p.m. at Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo.
She was born July 21, 1888 in Texas. She had been a resident of Clarendon 4 1/2 years, coming from Carpeinteria, Calif., where she was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Burlie, of the home; four daughters, Mrs. John Gillean of Clarendon, Mrs. Robert Jackson of Amarillo, Mrs. Albert Ward of Estilline, and Mrs. Boyd Honeyman of Carpinteria; a son, Thomas of Santa Barbara; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
