In loving memory of Mitchell Ray Moore born on May 17, 1962, son of Melvin and Ruth Moore, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2008, at the age of 46, after a lengthy illness with Diabets. Mitch is proceeded in death by grandparents Marshall and Verna Wall of Oklahoma City; Henry Moore of Oklahoma City; Leroy and Jimmy Wall of Ok., and former wife Robin Moore. Survivors include daughter Melissa Moore, granddaughter Britteny Dobbs and son Jonathan Moore of Mustang, Ok.; Grandmother Melva Moore and Uncle Leon Moore of Oklahoma City, Ok.; Aunt Kathy and Jim McClain of Wilson, Ok; Uncle Ralph and Jeanne Wall of Newalla, Ok.; Uncle Bobby Wall of Blanchard, Ok; Aunt Verna Arnold of Del City, Aunt Joan and Erby of Oklahoma City, Ok.; Uncle David and Donna of Del City, Ok., Three Sisters, Teresa and Kelly Bennett of Blanchard, Ok.; Diana and Steve Phillips of Winchester, Ky; Alina and Nelson Reed of Yukon, Ok.; and two brothers, San and Melissa Moore of Perkins, Ok; Mark and Pauletta Moore of Chickasha, Ok; Nieces and Nephews including, Amanda, Justin and Noah Barber, Darren and Cody Bennett, Aaron Phillips, Stephen, Jessica and Denise Webb, Marshall Webb, David Coffey, Cody and Caleb Oliver, Emily, Amber and Chad Moore, Elizabeth, Jaynme and Anna Reed and many other precious relatives and friends.
Mitch graduated in May of 1980 from Blanchard High School in Blanchard, Ok. Then went to work for Parker Drilling in Oklahoma City, and then worked for Car City detail/Mechanic in Oklahoma City, Ok. Worked for 12 years at American Building Supply in Oklahoma City, Ok.; Park Window Company installing doors and windows until his illness took over.
His Hobbies were going to the Zoo, Lake Tinkiller, and the State Fair, working with wood, collecting eagles and lighthouses.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 2:00pm at New Life Baptist Church in Blanchard, Ok.
A heart felt appreciation goes to Mitch's Mon and Dad, Melvin and Ruth Moore for their love and tender care during Mitch's last few years. Also Mitch's family extends their gratitude to the staff of Norman Regional Hospital, Sooner Dialysis and Norman Specialty Hospital for their tender care of him during his last months. Thank you for all the prayers and support during this time of our loss.
