Clayton was the son of Ella (Bean)and Hiram Parrish.
Husband of Phyllis. Father of five children
Brother of Robbie Froedge, Dorothy Horton, Elsie Hauk, Nina Parrish , Bessie Clark "Tinsy", Marie Bye, J.B., and Jr.
At the time of death, he had one granddaughter
Clayton served in the U.S Navy during the Vietnam War.
Clayton Jo was 54, Carmel, Maine, formerly of Pittsboro, Indiana. He died Saturday August 13th at St. Joseph's Hospital, Bangor Maine. Funeral service were at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg with Rev Betty Garrett officiating.
Clayton was an office machine sales and serviceman for Business Machine Services, Hermon, Maine for nine years retiring in 1992. He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was husband of Phyllis (Lynch) Parrish. They were parents of Natalee Parrish, Christina Parish, Lori Bloomer, Amy Parrish and Tyler Parish.

Note. Clayton and family lived next door to our family growing up, and was like a "little brother", so to speak, as he was at our house quite a lot. He and I shared the month of January for our birthdays.

His mother,father and sisters Nina and Elsie and brothers, J.B. and Jr. are buried in this cemetery also.
