Jessie May Parsons
The funeral for Mrs. Jessie May Parsons, 82, was held this Wednesday [Oct. 21] at the First Baptist church in Barnard, the Rev. Glenn Epp officiating.
Burial was in Union Valley cemetery.
Mrs. Parsons, a resident of Barnard many years, died Saturday [Oct. 17] at Wesley hospital in Wichita. She was born Nov. 11, 1881, in Gage county, Neb.
Mrs. Parsons and her husband, the late Fred Parsons, owned and operated a farm near Barnard. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Barnard.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Helen Loy and Mrs. Frances Clark, both of Barnard; Mrs. Marion Medcraft, Lincoln; Mrs. Margaret Evans, Wichita; and Mrs. Ruth Hamilton, Rosemead, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Lewis, Lincoln, and Mrs. Willard Hunt, Glendale, Calif.; two brothers, Charley Bridenstine, Zillah, Wash., and Donald Bridenstine, Corona, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
