TRINITY -- Funeral for Myrtle Jeffreys Brackin, 87, of Moulton will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Agee and the Rev. Jackie Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Donald Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brackin died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at her residence. She was born July 5, 1912, in Lawrence County to Oliver and Betty Jeffreys. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Brackin was the widow of Tom E. Brackin.
She is survived by one son, R. Devon Brackin of Moulton; three daughters, Audrey Faye Brackin, Bonnie Dutton Moland and Sue Brannan, all of Moulton; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will Barry Brackin, Mike Brackin, Randy Dutton, Mark Hamilton, Tony Shelton and James Brannan.
