Albert Wesley Davis born to Nathan & Sarah (Woolley) Davis.
He served as a missionary in the Hawaiian Islands with Joseph F. Smith who he was related by marriage .

Albert was a Temple worker in the Salt Lake City Temple since the dedication in 1893 and served in the Temple Presidency from 1910-1925.
He was the first Bishop of the Center Ward, in the Salt Lake Stake.

Patriarch Albert Wesley Davis was a man trusted and honored by the confidence of three of the presidents of the Church, who called on him in days of trouble, and he was always ready.
These presidents, John Taylor, Wilford Woodruff, and Joseph F. Smith Sr, called on Brother Davis from time to time when there was need of a confidential friend and someone that they could trust to look after them and their interests-during those times of trouble in the Territory of Utah.
