Mrs. Armstrong was a life long resident of Hawkins County and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Armstrong, (May 22, 2005) one daughter, Nancy Gail Armstrong, her parents, Charles F. and Myrtle Mowdy Lee, one brother, William Lee and one sister, Ruth Manis.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Hickman, Church Hill; one grandson, Josh Hickman, Church Hill; one sister, Beulah "Sis" Dickerson, Surgoinsville; one brother, Charles Lee, Johnson City; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home and anytime at the home of her daughter.
Services will be conducted Friday at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Cutshaw officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Elm Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be brother-in-laws and nephews.
