Leda Parent Argus , 65, of 7 Shirron Ave. died Thursday at her home after a long illness.
A native of Massena, Mrs. Argus resided most of her life in the East Syracuse area before moving to Sylvan Beach seven years ago. She was a cashier with the Byrne Dairy store in East Syracuse.
Surviving are four sons, Richard of Hawaii, Larry of East Syracuse, David of Syracuse and Scott of Mattydale; two sisters, Doris Wilmer of Bridgeport and Muriel Ptak of Sylvan Beach; a brother, Sherwood Parent of Clay; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Forani & Cline Funeral Home, the Rev. Eric Harer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Minoa.
Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 206 Kinne St.
