Mrs. Amanda Steele Bell, aged 58, died at her home near Griffin Tuesday morning, June 6th, at 7 o'clock of flux, after an illness of about two weeks.

Mrs. Bell was Miss Amanda Steele, daughter of the late John Steele, she married Mr. Bell on March 21st 1880, from which union eight children were born, six of whom survive her.

She joined the Baptist church at Fellowship on June 25th 1893, and had lived a consistent Christian life.

Besides her husband and six children, she is survived by two sisters and two brothers, being Mesdames Barbara Bell of Griffen, Parlee Dobbs of Coopersville, H.B. Steele of Rocky Branch, and J.W. Steele of this city.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Grant Roberts at the home last Wednesday after which the remains were interred in the family burying ground.
