Charles Samuel Sackett, 84, retired resident of Winthrop, Ark., died
5:30 a.m. Saturday in a DeQueen hospital. He was born July 28, 1884 in Popular Bluff, Mo. He had lived for a number of years in Little
River County and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie White of Ashdown, Ark., and Mrs. Harold Wall of Horatio; a number of nieces and nephews; and six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Winthrop Baptist Church with the Rev. James H. Dean officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Ground Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral
