Virginia "Ginny" was the daughter of Peter Bertoli and Irene Whildon. As a young girl she moved from Toledo to Columbus Ohio and then to Radcliff, Kentucky and graduated from Vine Grove High School. She married Captain Leo J. Farber on September 29, 1945. Together they had five children - Linda, Lee, Lana, Leo, and Leslie. Ginny was an accomplished seamstress making clothes for all her children, making doll clothes, and costumes for her grandchildren. It was something she really enjoyed doing.
