I bought this picture on Ebay.com It had his name on the back and states he was a Boot/Shoemaker. He was my 2nd great-granduncle. Susan

His birth name was: Édouard Villeneuve and he was born and baptimized on the same day. His baptismal took place at Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, St-Hyacinthe, Quebec. Parents names on baptismal record were Colette Aveline and Édouard Villeneuve.

James Newcity of Bristol died yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. N. Busky of that place, aged 72 years. He leaves four children, Mrs. Busky, Eliza Newcity, both of Bristol Harvey Newcity of Montgomery, Vt., and Deputy Sheriff Harry Newcity of Winsted.
There will be services at the house this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Henry Clark, pastor fo the Baptist Church, officiating. The body will be taken (sic) to Raldolph (sic), Vt., Saturday, for burial.
