Funeral services for Maudie Belle Parker, 89, of San Antonio, TX formerly of Delhi, LA were held 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville, LA with Rev. Gary Taylor officiating. Internment followed in Rayville Masonic Cemetery.

Maudie Parker was born March 12, 1919 and passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Parker; parents, Nat and Sallie Smith; her 4-sisters and 3-brothers.

Survivors include son, Jerry Wiggins and wife, Esther of San Antonio, TX; 2-grandsons, Jerry Wiggins, Jr. and wife, Mary of New York, NY and Ashley Brown and wife, Lisa of San Antonio, TX; great granddaughter, Avery Brown of San Antonio, TX; special nieces, Mickey Fisher of Lindsay, OK and Patricia Johnson of Rayville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jerry Wiggins, Jr., Ashley Brown, Johnny Fisher, Wendell Shoemaker, Allen Ray Best, and Kenneth Griffin.
