The Moville Record, 2 November 1995, page 1: Graveside services for Thelma I. Hinds, 86, of Moville were held Friday, October 27, 1995, at Fairfield Cemetery, Rock Branch, with Rev. Orrin Potter of the Moville United Methodist Church officiating. McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville was in charge of arrangements. Miss Hinds was born March 4, 1909, in Anthon. She graduated from Moville High School in 1928 and attended Morningside College for two years. She lived in Moville most of her life where she worked as a clerk at the Hunting General Store for 33 years, retiring in 1964. Miss Hinds died Tuesday, October 24, 1995, at Colonial Manor in Correctionville after a brief illness. Survivors include a niece, Betty Flaten of Westminster, Colorado, and several cousins. She was preceded by a sister, Mabel Tracewell.
