At that place, in 1876, she married Moses Newcity and they came to Hyde Park shortly thereafter, living in various parts of this town and a few years ago moved into the village. Nine children were born to them; all save one, survive her. they are Bert of Stowe, Hayden of Morristown, Frank in California, Gordon in the Philippines, Albert, Ella and Marion at home, and Mrs Bessie Baker of Wolcott. There are also three brothers and two sisters: Herbert of Johnson, Orrin and Elmer of Montgomery, Mrs. Julia Geraw of Massachusetts and Mrs Dell Chamberlain of New Hampshire.
The funeral was held from the home this afternoon, Rev Mr. Baker of Morrisville officiating. The bearers were Bert, Hayden and Albert and a son-in-law Guy Baker. The burial was in the village cemetery, There were many floral tributes.
