Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church,Tuesday,July 6,2004 at 10:00 A.M. Brother Step Martin and Brother Mike Stowell will officiate.Interment will follow in Forest Park West Cemetery,Meriwether Road.
The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath's Southside Funeral Home,Monday,July 5,2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
Wayne was a self employed paint contractor his entire life.His favorite pastimes were hunting and spending time with his family.Wayne will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He will forever be in our memories and in the hearts of those who love him.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents;beloved wife of fourteen years,Janice McFerren and grandson Jeffery
"Austin" McFerren.
Left behind to cherish many memories are his daughter, Janet Veuleman and husband,Eric of Shreveport,LA;sons,Jeff McFerren and special friend,Gwen of Keithville,LA;Michael Wayne McFerren and wife,Angela of Shreveport,LA;brothers,Norman McFerren and wife,Vernice of Marthaville,LA,Johnny McFerren and wife Patsy of Stonewall,LA;grandson,Tyler McFerren of Keithville; very dear and special friend,Sherrie Carter;and a hose of nieces,nephews,
