The Superior Express (Superior, NE), Thursday, March 8, 1928

Anna Estescha Reese was born Feb. 28th, 1853, at Union Falls, New York, and died March 4th, 1928, at Superior, Nebraska. She was married Feb. 27, 1870, at Plattsburg, N.Y., to Henry Abbott of Delta, Ohio, where they went to make their home. To this union was born five children: Frank W. Abbott of Superior, Neb.; Charles F. Abbott of Denver, Colo.; Jay E. Abbott of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Mable Winget of Bloomington, Ill., and Frederick J. Abbott, who died in 1891 at the age of seven years.

In Blooming, Neb., on April 14th (sic), 1914, Mr. Abbott passed on to his reward. October 20th, 1925, Mrs. Abbott was united in marriage to I.C. Roberts, who with her children mourn her loss today. Mr. Robert's son, Mr. Joe Roberts, and wife, of Wichita, Kansas, are also here to pay their respects.

The funeral was held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. Langley. Interment in Evergreen cemetery (sic).
