She was a native of Red Jacket, W.Va., and lived in Henderson County most of her life.
She was a daughter of the late Julius Davis and Virgie Cecil Davis.
She was a member of the 2001 Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Billy Brackett Sr.; a son, Dirk Brackett and his wife, Priscilla, of Arden; two daughters, Wilma Baldwin and her husband, Michael, of Dana and Rebecca Brackett of the home; a stepson, Billy Brackett Jr. and his wife, Margie, of Flat Rock; four grandchildren, Logan Brackett, and Micah, Tanis and Jade Baldwin; and two brothers.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stoney Mountain Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow at Barnwell Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors.
