Isham M. Irby, a noble son Isham and Ann Irby, died suddenly August 17, 1901, aged 20 years

He was born near Aurora City, Missouri, January 25, 1881. Martin had two infant brothers, three infant sisters and a Christian mother, to meet him on the other side. Five brothers, two sisters and his father survive him.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Ritzville on Sunday afternoon, August 18, by pastor, and decedent's loved remains were laid to rest in the Ritzville Cemetery.

Our lamented brother was brought up under noble Christian influences, Upon being born into the Kingdom, he was baptized and joined the First Baptis Church of Aurora City in 1894.

Martin's life was one of genuine purity, patience, love and temperance. As apupil of Aurora High School his work was always throrough. He came to this state a little over a year ago and engaged in the drilling business. He was industrious and economical and apparently had a bright future. He loved his Saviour and delighted in the services of the house of God.
