Coy, AR. Bessie Marie Archer went to be with her Savior Wednesday, January 03, 2007. She was born September 9, 1910 to Ab C. and Ora Elizabeth Johns Smith. Mrs. Archer was a member of the Caney Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, W.W. (Wid) Archer, her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors are 1 son; Buddy Rex Archer of Sherwood, AR., 4 Grandchildren; Donna Archer, Walter Archer (Christine), Rex E. Archer Sr. all of North Little Rock, Joyce Allen (Andy) of Fayetteville, AR., 6 Great-Grandchildren; Rachel Archer, North Little Rock, Rex E. Archer Jr. of California, Tammy Peterson (Steve), North Little Rock, Scarlett Smiley of Leslie, AR., Joshua and Caleb Archer of North Little Rock. 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Cody & McKeel Clendenin, Jacksonville, AR., a sister-in-law Marie Briggs (D.L.) of Hot Springs, AR., many friends and will be missed by all who knew her.
Services will be Saturday, January 6, 10:00 A.M. at Roller-England Funeral Home, with burial at 3 P. M. at the Dennard Cemetery in Dennard, AR. Visitation: Friday, January 5, 6 8 P.M. at Roller-England Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Vineyard Community Church in North Little Rock, AR.
