Fred C. Akers
The funeral for Fred C. Akers, 58, of College Park will be at 2 p.m. Friday at A.C. Hemperley Sons with burial at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery, Roanoke, Va.
Mr. Akers, a commercial ticket salesman for Eastern Airlines, died Wednesday at South Fulton Hospital of a heart attack. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vivian Pedigo Akers of College Park; daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Dewberry of Athens; son, Gary A. Akers of College Park; and sister, Mrs. Judy Butner of Wilson, N.C.
