Graveside services for Thelma Caffey will be 10:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2009 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale with Rev. Doug Springer officiating.
Visitation will be 5PM to 8PM Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the funeral home.
Thelma Inez Caffey was born December 20, 1926 in Rockdale to Aaron and Willa Mae (Booth) Alford. She lived all of her life in Rockdale.
On June 19, 1948, she and Curtis Caffey were married in Rockdale.
Thelma worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church in Rockdale.
Thelma passed away Friday morning, August 14, 2009 in the Manor Oaks Nursing Center in Rockdale, reaching the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis on May 6, 2001. Parents. Brothers, Lee Hurst and John Alford and a sister, Willene Howarth.
Surviving: Daughters, Vickie Caffey of Milano and Diane Ebenholtz and husband Larry of Austin. Granddaughter, Tish Todd and husband Mike of Minerva. Great grandson, Curtis Michael Todd of Minerva.
