Baby used to have a headstone, it was unreadable, and I had a photo of it, but I deleted it thinking that when I went back I could get a better reading. Well, someone who is a very uncaring person has taken the stone away. At first, it just looked like grass, and I got to looking for the stone, knowing I had not lost my mind. I found the hole. So, I pulled all the grass away and found the base.
To bring you up to date on Baby! The Veterans Administration of VA Danville National Cemetery had a monument placed for my darling baby, of which I adopted so to speak. I was able to go to the cemetery today and as I got closer I could not believe what I was seeing. I cried. BABY HAD A STONE! My prayers were answered by kindness in the heart of one person. May he forever be blessed.
They do not have any records of who the baby is, so I am still without a name or gender, but BABY has been recognized as a person who was born and died. Baby was human and as that Baby deserved a headstone.
