From The Lebanon News, March 20 1996: William Kermit Musick, age 83, died Sunday, March 17, 1996 in Wytheville Community Hospital. A lifelong resident of Russell County, he attended Weavers Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Bell Musick. Survivors include three daughters, Chris Smith, Hahira, GA; Betty Price, Manlius, New York and Grace Shockley, Bluefield, West Virginia; two sons, Roy Musick, Hiwassee, Va., and Carl R. Musick, Annandale, Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Madie Musick, Cleveland, Virginia and Mrs. Adeline Sykes, Lebanon, Virginia; 10
grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Russell County
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Klaiber officiating. Burial will follow
in Ketron Memorial Gardens. Grandson and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Russell County Funeral Home is in charge.
