Cpl. Bruce E. Ferrell, 21, of Perdido, Ala.; was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died Aug. 10 while supporting combat operations in Garmsir, Afghanistan. He was serving our country with the 2/8 Fox Company 3rd Platoon U. S. Marines. He is survived by: His parents: Bruce Ferrell, Sr. & Pam Ferrell His brother: Dustin Ferrell, Perdido, AL His sister: Tiffani Scarbrough, Perdido, AL His grandparents: Melvin & Charles Ferrell, Perdido, AL Bonnie Whatley He was preceded in death by: His sister: Danielle Whatley His grandfather: Herman Whatley.
