Heart trouble is believed to have caused the sudden death late yesterday afternoon of Eugene Summy, pioneer farmer of Sutter County. Summy was engaged in picking fruit yesterday when he had a fainting spell.A physician was summoned,but Summy failed to rally and death ensued. Summy had made his home in Sutter County for many years where he was well and favorably known. He is survived by his wife Anna (Mary Ann) Summy of Sutter City, and four brothers;Jack Summy of Meridian, Leonidas Summy of Sutter City, Alonzo Summy of Meridian and George Summy of Sutter. Deceased was a native of Illinois and 58 years old. The funeral arrangements are in charge of R. E. Bevan & Sons and will be held from family residence at 2 pm Wednesday.
