Funeral services: Ray L. Comer, 29, killed in Monday's tornado in Waco, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Saint John's Methodist Church, the Rev. C. R. Cole, officiating.

Burial in Waco Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Comer is survived by his widow, the former Miss Joanne Hicks, a daughter, Deborah Ann; two sons, Marc Edgar Hicks and Joe Shelby Hicks; his mother, Mrs. Martha B. Comer of Beaumont; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Hughes of Beaumont, a brother, Berryl Comer of Dallas. He was connected with the Shelby Bigden Co., played football at Baylor University in 1945 and 1946, graduated from that school the latter year. His home was at 3300 Cliffview Lane.

Pallbearers for Mr. Comer will be Jim Bob Sample, Shelby Bigden, Earl Wiley, Harold Hicks, Bob Eubie, and Ted Farner.
