Died at the home of her parents in Lawrence, June 25, at about 6 p.m., after an illness extending over a period of some four months Miss Charlotte Cronin, aged 20 years, 5 months, 24 days. Consumption is given as the cause of death. Deceased was the eldest of the family of Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Cronin. In the death of Miss Cronin the community loses one of its brightest young women. Services were conducted by Father Fleckinger Wednesday morning at the Catholic church after which the remains were laid away in the Bohnart cemetery (sic). The Intermediate pupils of the Lawrence school, the instructing of which was the last work of the dead girl, were present in a body at the home and the church services under the charge of Mrs. Martin, who filled the unexpired term as preceptress. -- Lawrence (From Lawrence Locomotive)
