MARY T DRESSMAN LAVALE Mrs. Mary Teresa (Andrews) Dressman, 94, of LaVale, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at the Allegany County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Bealky) Andrews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Charles Dressman, in 1990; and by six brothers. Mrs. Dressman was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and owner and operator of Dressmans Market in LaVale.
Surviving are three sons, Lawrence E. Dressman and wife JoAnn of LaVale, Francis L. Dressman and wife Judy of Gasden, Alabama, and David A. Dressman and wife Nancy of LaVale; a daughter, Catherine L. Haselberger and husband Tom of LaVale. Also, surviving are seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Cumberland, with Father Bernard Finerty as celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hafer Funeral Service, P.A., Chapel of the Hills, LaVale.
Private interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Saints Peter ad Paul Catholic Church 125 Fayette St., Cumberland, MD 21502.
