Nannie Mae Brantley Bailey, 104, of Spartanburg, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at SRMC Hospice Home. Born June 25, 1912 in Eastman, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Molly Sheffield Brantley. She was the widow of David Critton (D.C.) Bailey.

Nannie retired from Jonathan Login. She was a member of Cudd Memorial Baptist Church and a member of the Home Makers Class.

Survivors include sons, John Bailey of Spartanburg; Thomas Bailey (Margaret) of Walnut Grove; Joe Bailey (Jackie) of Woodruff; daughters, Dorothy Thomas of Charlotte, NC; Geraldine Stockdale of Spartanburg; grandsons, Jason Bailey, Joe Bailey, Lynn Stockdale, Marty Simmons, Britt Simmons; granddaughters, Cherie Bailey, Susan Lueck, Janice Wells, Kelley Etters; 21 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a daughter, Sarah Sparnell; three grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Norris. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cudd Memorial Baptist Church, 1301 Boiling Springs Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
