Adda S Curtis Crowder, daughter of Foster and Lynn Nease Curtis, was born October 2, 1884 in Meigs County, Ohio; died at her home in West Frankfort on April 15, 1930.
She was a member of the Baptist Church at Carterville in her earlier married life and remained a member there until her death.
She is survived by her husband, E A Crowder of West Frankfort; one daughter, Mrs Fred Daily of Rockford, Illinois; three sons, Curtis, 18, Russell 15, and Billy 13, all of West Frankfort; two brothers, C J Curtis of Eustio, Florida; Damon Curtis of Flint Michigan; and one sister, Mrs Dora Palmer of Noble, Illinois.
She was an ideal wife and mother. Funeral services were held from the home of Mrs Palmer with burial in the Noble Cemetery.
