Norman Bennion Bateman 73, died Oct 30, 1986 in the Logan Utah Regional Hospital of a heart attack.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov 3, in the Paris Idaho Stake Center. Burial followed in Bloomington, ID.
He was born May 19, 1913 in Bloomington to Hubert and Mary Jane Madsen Batman. He married Lark Allred June 4, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
A lifetime resident of Bloomington he was a rancher and served on the city council and as mayor. He also served for many years on the board and as president of the Bloomington Cattle Assoc. He was an active member of the LDS Church and held many church positions during his lifetime.
He is survived by his wife of Bloomington, two sons, Todd Bateman of Afton, Peter Bateman, Wyoming, one daughter, Mrs William (Libbie) Hodges, Tillamook OR 12 grandchildren, two sisters LaMona Rasmussen, Phoenix and Arrah Wood, Salt Lake City, one brother Ray of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
