The daughter of the late Mack and Lillie Hicks Yount, born Dec. 25, 1926 in Knott County, she was of the Church of God faith. She was united in marriage with Howard Lee Eaton on May 9, 1943, who preceded her in death after 49 years of marriage. She was a housewife and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Stroupe; and two half-brothers, Homer Stamper and James Dane.
