OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Following a heart attack suffered Thursday morning, Mrs. Elmer Forbes died Friday morning at 1:45 o'clock in the Wabash County hospital where she had been admitted about noon Thursday. Mrs. Forbes was found ill when Mr. Forbes arrived home at the lunch hour.
She was born in Wabash, Nov. 19, 1890 to William and Louise (Jenks) McKinley. She attended the local schools and was a member of the First Christian church. Her marriage to Elmer Forbes took place March 19, 1913.
Surviving are the husband and one son, S/Sgt. Charles Harry Forbes, who is with the 9th Air Force in Europe. One daughter, Mrs. Eloise Parks, preceded her in death 10 years ago. Two brothers, Harry McKinley, Anderson, and Raymond McKinley, Lafayette, also survive.
Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Hoover Funeral home with the Rev. Elwood Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body has been taken to the funeral home where friends may call Saturday afternoon.
