Born May 22, 1937 in Seattle, WA to John and Johanna McDonald, passed away July 29, 2008 in Spokane, WA. Marguerite moved with her parents and sisters to Colville, WA. Marguerite graduated Colville High School and moved to Spokane where she married Mervin E. Carlson of Spokane, WA on May 24, 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Mervin in 1992. She is survived by her son Harold R. Carlson; daughters Jeannie M. Carlson and Karen L. Willis; and grandsons Shawn and Aaron Carlson of Spokane. Marguerite was a longtime active member of the Spokane Central Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she taught bible study and participated in many church functions which were a true passion for her. Marguerite also enjoyed gardening and being an active member of her neighborhood watch program. Memorial services will be held at Spokane Central Seventh Day Adventist Church, 828 W. Spofford Ave, Spokane, WA on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 1pm. Private committal will take place at Freeman Cemetery. Please sign the online memorial book at www.hennessey-smith.com."
