Welcomed into god's kingdom, May 31, 2006, EDITH ELIZABETH WOLFE BROWN GOULD KNOX, was born December 9, 1910. Edith spent her childhood and adult life in Houston, Texas. Edith loved three spouses and a step-daughter through their illnesses and final demise; Robert Brown, Donald Gould, Sr., Dee Roy Knox and Bobbie Nell Brown.

Edith is survived by three step-daughters, their spouses and a step-son and spouse, Rowena/Leon Hackfeld, Diana/Ray Woodward, Joyce/Winston Stahlen and Don/Carol Gould, Jr. Also survived are grand and great stepchildren; nieces and spouses; grand, great, great nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.

"Edie" was a loving, generous Lady who loved her life and the people in it. LIFE was good to Edie; Edie was good to LIFE. Edie didn't want to let life go and Life didn't want to let Edie go. Arrangements for a celebration of her life are pending. The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to Hope Hospice New Braunfels.
