Most sources show his birth year as 1872, but it may have been 1871. WWI Draft, 1900 Census and his death certificate all show 1872 - all strong sources. His mother's family Bible shows 1871 however, dates she recorded (unless I'm mistaken) as her children were born. Adam's wife was also born in October 1872. I have not found a birthdate for her yet, but note that the tombstone shows they were both born on the same day in the same year.

The tombstone apparently shows they married in 1898. I believe this is an error. The 1900 census shows they had been married 4 years. Their first child was born in July 1897. Ancestry.com public member trees show their marriage date as 22 Dec 1895 (no sources noted though).
