Oskaloosa -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Presbyterian Church here for
Charles GARDINER, 61, Oskaloosa, who died Sunday at a Lawrence hospital after a short
illness.
He was born Oct. 28, 1904 at McLouth and spent most of this life in Jefferson County. He
was employed 17 years in the geology department of the Kansas Highway Commission. He was
a member of the Presbyterian Church at Oskaloosa.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Gardiner, of the home; a daughter, Mrs.
Patricia O'TRIMBLE, rural Oskaloosa; and two grandsons.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Oskaloosa. Hampton Funeral Home at Oskaloosa
is in charge of arrangements.
